There are many capable motorcycles all around the world which have the potential to conquer the Indian motorcycle market but here are the top motorcycles in the 150 to 300cc segment which definitely should come to India.

1) Suzuki GSX R150

The First motorcycle on the list is from Suzuki which is a direct rival to Yamaha Yzf R15 and Honda CBR 150R. This is a performance-oriented motorcycle that is very different from the gixxer which is available in India. Powering this motorcycle is a single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces max power of 19.1 PS and torque of 14 Nm, The bike is also more than 11 kg lighter than Yamaha R15. Some of the key features of this motorcycle are Key-less ignition system, LED headlights, full LCD instrument cluster with multiple information. Although this bike is a track-oriented tool it misses out on some of the key features like upside-down forks and ABS which also affects the overall pricing of this motorcycle. If we convert the Indonesian currency to the Indian rupee, the bike is almost 25 thousand rupees cheaper than the Cbr 150r.

2) Honda CB 150R Exmotion

The second bike on the list is the Honda CB 150 R or the naked sibling of the CBR 150R. This bike is a great motorcycle for daily commuting as well as has lots of performance. It has a 149 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 17 Bhp and 14 Nm of peak torque. The design is similar to its elder brother the CB 300 R, The only noticeable difference which can be observed between the two bikes is the exhaust. Cb 150 R has a muscular retro design language that is fused together with a lot of techs like All LED headlamps, tail lamps, indicators, upside-down forks, New full LCD multifunction meter with gear position indicator and tells average fuel economy. Honda needs to understand that if these bikes are well priced they can be the game-changer. If this bike comes to India then it will be a tough competition to Tvs apache 160, Ktm duke 125, Yamaha mt-15 and Suzuki gixxer 150.

3) Honda CBR 250RR

The next bike on the list is again from Honda which has changed all the standards in the quarter-liter segment its non-other than the Honda CBR 250RR, The motorcycle which every Indian motorcycle enthusiasts are waiting for since the bike was launched back in 2016. Honda has truly shown what they are capable of by putting every single hardware and electronic feature on this motorcycle so that the rider can give his 100% on the track. The bike has cuts and edges all over its body and the overall design is very aggressive. 250RR is powered by a 249 cc DOHC parallel-twin engine which produces 38 Bhp and 22.3 Nm of torque, other hardware on this motorcycle are aluminum swingarm, 5 step adjustable upside-down forks, Dual exhaust, and ABS. It also comes with lots of electronic aids like Ride by wire, Lap timer, Full digital instrument cluster with 3 riding modes ( comfort, sport, and sport plus). due to all these techs, the cost of this bike is very high which is one of the main reasons why honda will not launch this motorcycle.

4) Yamaha MT-03

The Yamaha Mt-03 is the fourth motorcycle on the list and the 2020 version has got some pretty significant updates which include new styling, digital instrument cluster, and better suspension setup. This motorcycle belongs to Yamaha's naked sports line-up which includes the MT-15, MT-07, Mt-09, and MT-10. This gen is powered by a 321cc Parallel-twin engine which produces 42 Ps of power and 30 Nm of peak torque. The main advantage of this bike is its engine, unlike other single-cylinder models, this bike is much smoother and rider-friendly at lower Rpms which gives it better tractability in city traffic. Designing of the front end has been inspired by the R1 with those mean DRL's and a single Led which appears to be the mouth of the bike. Yamaha MT-03 has the most chances that it will be launched later this year which eventually gives tough competition in the naked dominated world of KTM Duke 390.
